How’s that working out for you? Ask yourself that simple question, how is doing it yourself working out for you? Chris Hemsworth, Hugh Jackman, Ash Barty, Tia-Clair Toomey, Dustin Martin… what do all of these incredible humans have in common, apart from being among the best in the world at what they do? They all had Coaches, for fitness, nutrition, mindset…acting… they all had help getting to where they are now.
Why are you different, do you deserve any less? You may not have aspirations to be the best in the world (that takes loads of talent and hard work), but I am sure you want to be the best you possible, the best Mum, the best Dad, the best Brother, Sister, Son, Daughter, Grandparent, Uncle, Aunty, friend, and sometimes that means enlisting some help to get you there.
Help can come in so many forms, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, a hug, a thank you, a you can do it. It can come from any where, sometimes even from the most unexpected of places. Or it may never come at all. You could be giving 100% to ‘staying strong’, to doing the best you can, fighting negative thoughts, slowly gaining weight, losing fitness and finding simple tasks more and more difficult. If left unchecked, before you know it you could be in a situation you thought you would never be in, unhappy, unfit, overweight and seemingly helpless.
No matter how hopeless it may seem there is always a way out. Always a way to regain your life and be happy, motivated and the best version of you. Whether you are suffering with dark and negative thoughts, putting on a bit of extra weight or just unmotivated and your general health is suffering, a coach, a mentor, a family member, a friend wants to help, but you have to ask.
For most this is the hardest step. Asking. Getting the courage to ask for help can seem impossible, but in reality it is the most simple and once you do, ask, you will immediately feel a weight lifted off your shoulders. All you need to do is pick up your phone and help is there, whether it be a phone call to a friend or family member, a message, Google, email or researching what you are after, your phone can do it all. You are not alone.
Who needs a Coach? We all do in one way or another. We need some one there by our side who will listen, who will give advice, who will motivate and inspire us. Some times this is in the form of a friend, family member or training buddy, but sometimes you need to enlist the help of a Nutrition, Fitness and/or Mindset Coach. It could be the best thing you have done for yourself, ever. You are not alone, ask for help right now.
